Barbara Wrightson

Dr. Wrightson has worked as a teacher in an international school since 1999 and started her IB career in 2001, working in education settings in the United States, Slovakia, Brazil, China, and Korea. She also holds a master’s in English education, a post-master’s in educational leadership, and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Management. Dr. Wrightson has served in a variety of roles throughout her IB teaching career, including IB workshop leader, school visitor, consultant, supervisor, and curriculum reviewer. In addition, as an international schools IB educator she has held the positions of MYP teacher (for ages 11-16), MYP coordinator, DP teacher, DP coordinator, CP coordinator, and PK-12 IB administrator. She has served as a school administrator at two IB schools located in South Korea: Taejon Christian International School and Chadwick International School in Songdo. Dr. Wrightson will teach the courses ‘Curriculum Design and Delivery’ and ‘IB Assessment’ for DP with Professor Jason.

Yoon, Jeong-Suk

Professor Jeong-Suk Yoon is currently working at Branksome Hall Asia International School in Jeju, as well as international schools in Indonesia and China. She has worked as an MYP/DP teacher in IB international schools, IB DP Korean Examiner, IB MYP Korean Moderator, IB Korean Subject Specialist/Consultant, IB Official Translation Consultant, and curriculum-related roles.
